Outfit: Khaki and Chanel

Hi babes! In this look you see many of my favorite items, such as this khaki jacket and my Chanel espadrilles. About the Chanel espadrilles I can tell you a funny story, by all means now I can laugh with it, at that moment I couldn't! I was already looking for a year for these espadrilles, I have literally seen every Chanel store in Paris. When I finally heard that they came back in the Chanel shop in Antwerp, I sent my mom there. At 9am she stood in line in front of the Chanel shop (I unfortunately had to work that day), very weird that there was such a long line, because it's not that cheap. She wanted to avoid that they were sold out before she was there, so she parked her care somewhere quickly. Wrong place apparently because she was just in time to prevent that her car was towed away, but  she had a serious fine though! You can guess that eventually the espadrilles were much more expensive then planned. But okay back to the outfit.. 

I bought this jacket a while back during the Fashion weekend in Ostend and it's still one of my favorites. The sunglasses are my latest addition of Polette, Pretty aren't they? Personally, I think this is the cutest of my whole Polette collection! Did you also do something stupid to score an item? I would love to hear your stories!

Hi babes! In deze look zien jullie veel van mijn favoriete items terug, zoals deze khaki jas en mijn Chanel espadrilles. Over de Chanel espadrilles kan ik jullie nog wel een grappig verhaal vertellen, alleszins nu kan ik er mee lachen, toen wel niet! Ik was al een jaar op zoek naar deze espadrilles, ik heb letterlijk elke Chanel winkel in Parijs gezien. Toen ik eindelijk hoorde dat ze terug binnen kwamen in de Chanel shop in Antwerpen heb ik mijn mama er op af gestuurd. Om 9uur stond ze netjes in de rij voor de Chanel shop ( Ik moest jammer genoeg werken die dag), heel gek trouwens dat er zo'n lange rij was, goedkoop is het nu niet echt. Ze wou het absoluut niet op haar geweten hebben dat ze de espadrilles zou mislopen, dus heeft ze haar auto snel ergens geparkeerd. Foute plek blijkbaar want ze was net op tijd terug om te voorkomen dat haar auto werd weggesleept, maar een serieuze boete had ze wel! Je kan wel raden dat de espadrilles uiteindelijk veel duurder uitkwamen dan voorzien! Maar oké terug naar de outfit..

Deze jas kocht ik een hele tijd terug tijdens het Mode in Oostende weekend en het is nog steeds één van mijn favorietjes. De zonnebril is mijn nieuwste aanwinst van Polette, leuk hé? Persoonlijk vind ik dit de leukste van heel mijn Polette verzameling! Zijn jullie ook al zo ver gegaan om een item te scoren? Ik hoor graag julle verhalen!
