Onlangs liet ik extensions plaatsen bij Beauty by Roos en ik kan het alvast zeggen: ik ben enorm tevreden met het resultaat.
De behandeling duurt ongeveer vier uurtjes, maar die tijd vliegt echt voorbij. Alles start met een uitgebreide bespreking van je wensen. Er wordt heel zorgvuldig gekeken naar welke kleur het best aansluit bij je eigen haar, zodat het resultaat zo natuurlijk mogelijk is. Die persoonlijke aanpak vond ik meteen een grote plus.
Daarna wordt het haar gewassen en starten ze met het plaatsen van de extensions. Alles gebeurt rustig en met veel precisie. De meisjes in het salon zijn super aangenaam en geven tijdens de behandeling duidelijke uitleg, waardoor je je meteen op je gemak voelt.
In mijn haar werden 175 extensions geplaatst, puur voor extra lengte. Het resultaat is prachtig en voelt heel natuurlijk aan. In het begin is het even wennen aan het extra gewicht, maar dat gevoel verdwijnt echt snel.
Na de behandeling kreeg ik ook verzorgingsproducten mee van Hairloxx, het merk van het haar. Een shampoo en conditioner die speciaal afgestemd zijn op extensions. Goede verzorging is echt belangrijk. Je haar moet minstens twee keer per dag geborsteld worden om klitten te vermijden en het gebruik van de juiste producten maakt daarbij een groot verschil.
In het salon verkopen ze daarnaast ook kwalitatieve producten van Balmain Hair. Ik nam zelf de heat protecting spray mee, omdat ik mijn haar vaak krul. Een aanrader als je regelmatig met warmte werkt.
Na zes weken word je opnieuw verwacht in het salon voor een controle. Dan bekijken ze of alles nog goed zit en of je tevreden bent met het haar. Die opvolging geeft echt vertrouwen.
Om de drie à vier maanden moeten de extensions vervangen worden en worden er nieuwe geplaatst, zodat alles mooi en gezond blijft.
Daarnaast biedt Beauty by Roos ook een volume behandeling aan voor wie geen extra lengte wil, maar wel meer volheid in het haar. Ideaal als je fijn of dun haar hebt en droomt van een voller kapsel zonder dat het langer hoeft te worden. Ook hierbij wordt er eerst uitgebreid gekeken naar je haarstructuur en kleur, zodat het resultaat mooi en natuurlijk blijft. Zo kan je perfect kiezen voor extra volume, extra lengte of een combinatie van beide, volledig afgestemd op jouw wensen.

They take great care in selecting the colour that best matches your natural hair, so the result looks as natural as possible. This personal approach was a huge plus for me.
After that, your hair is washed and the placement of the extensions begins. Everything is done calmly and with great precision. The girls in the salon are incredibly kind and explain everything clearly during the treatment, which immediately makes you feel comfortable.
In my case, 175 extensions were placed purely for extra length. The result is beautiful and feels very natural. At first, it takes a little time to get used to the extra weight, but that feeling disappears quite quickly.
After the treatment, I also received care products from Hairloxx, the brand of the hair itself. A shampoo and conditioner specifically designed for extensions. Proper care is really important. Your hair should be brushed at least twice a day to prevent tangles, and using the right products truly makes a difference.
The salon also sells high quality products from Balmain Hair. I personally took the heat protecting spray with me, as I curl my hair quite often. Definitely a must if you regularly use heat styling tools.
After six weeks, you are invited back to the salon for a check up. They make sure everything is still in perfect condition and that you are happy with the hair. That kind of follow up really gives peace of mind.
Every three to four months, the extensions need to be replaced and new ones are placed, so everything stays healthy and looks beautiful.
